A Letter from the Pastor

     Happy New Year!  A few weeks ago I was having a technical conversation with a professional.  Well, actually I was on the phone with tech support.  After a few minutes of taking steps that I am sure were designed by them just to see if the idiot on the phone would do it, she asked me if I had pressed the reset button.  "I never knew there was a reset button!" was my response.  All you need is a screwdriver to remove the bottom panel.  You take out the battery and under the battery is the reset button.  Sure enough it was there and I successfully reset my device to the factory settings.  Now it works just fine.  Once again, I can sit on the couch and check my email and catch up on some of the ill-advised schemes of my friends on Facebook.

     Wouldn't it be nice if we had a reset button and could be reset to our creator's factory settings? Well, now that I think about it that might not be such a good thing.  However, we have been offered restoration by our Creator.  I pray as we enter this New Year that we would be continually renewed and restored in the image of God.
