DRIVING DIRECTIONS

I would like to express my gratitude to the members and friends of Hartford First United Methodist Church for the  warm welcome that our family received as we moved into the community.  My entire family would like to thank the Mustard Seeds for providing meals for us during our first week of moving in and getting our house set up.  I can say without a doubt that you are living that portion of our mission statement of "welcoming everyone."

We have been looking forward to getting here and we are excited about being in ministry with you here in Hartford.  As time moves on I will get to know you all better and you will get to know me and my family better.  I have a wonderful wife Serena and we have two sons Matthew and Joshua.  Matthew will be three years only on the 23rd of July and Joshua will turn one on August 28th.

Being in Hartford is like being home for me.  I grew up in Walton County in the Center Ridge Community north of DeFuniak Springs.  Therefore, I have been familiar with Hartford all of my life.  Serena is originally from Blountstown and is happy to be closer to her family than we were previously in Fairhope.  However, it is more than the geography that makes Hartford seem like home.  We thank all of you for making us feel at home here and we look forward to making our home here with you.  I am confident that God has a lot in store for the Hartford First United Methodist Church and we look forward to sharing in that with you.
